Seahawks Invitational

Saturday morning brought suuny skies and 81 degree weather for the Seahawk Invitational. The Boys placed 13th in the Men’s Championship race and the Girls finished 14th in the the Women’s Championship.

In the Men’s Championship race Kyle Christ lead the team with a 13th place finish with a time of 16:37. Greco Adams finished 51st with a time of 17:26. Crossing closely behind Greco was Jonathan Bryd taking 52nd place with a time of 17:26. Ben Meshaw finished 91st with a time of 18:24. RJ Brown finished 110th place with a time of 18:49. Stephen Blatch finished 117th with a time of 19:01 and Chris Perez finished 139th with a time of 20:25.

In the Men’s JV race Michael Doty ran 20:22, Hernandez Javier ran 21:56, Noah Walker ran 22:24 and Alex Porter ran 22:51.

In the Women’s Championship race Becca Meshaw lead the team with a 19th finish with a time of 19:52. Lauren Humane finished 47th with a time of 20:57. Robin Pollard finished 94th with a time of 22:21. Patricia Patterson finished 104th with a time of 22:43. Taylor Johsnons finished 132nd with a time of 24:36. Allie Sekuilch finished 141st with a time of 25:50 and Jackie Koger finished 143rd with a time of 26:15.

Taylor Steffens ran in the JV race with a time of 26:22.

During Friday’s collegiate race West Johnson Alumni Ashley Matthews finished 2nd place for the Campbell Camels with a time of 18:33. Dakota Foskey finished 11th with a time of 19:32.for the Wilmington Seahawks. In the men’s race Eric Baldwin finished 6th with a time of 16:10 for the Campbell Camels.

West Johnston harriers will host a conference meet this Wednesday. Come out and support the runners. Go Wildcats!
